This innovative technology designed by Merlin allows the user to view the status of their door, open and close the door from anywhere with internet connection. Along with this, it is actually possible to create different accounts for a number of people, and assign them various levels of access. For example, you may only want your kids to be able to open the door between 9:00am and 5:00pm, and your house cleaner between 9:00am-12:00pm.

The Merlin Elite myQ also comes with photo-electric safety beams as standard. These beams sense obstructions in the door opening and stop your door coming down on things like children, pets and cars. This is always important and we recommend it to all of our customers, particularly the ones with children and pets, however it has never been more prudent to have them now that you have the ability to open and close the door from anywhere in the world.

Aside from the mobile phone technology, the motor itself is one of the leading motors in the industry, with a massive 550N of pulling force, this motor is one of the strongest in the residential sector. Along with this, an almost silent 24DC motor and a reliable 7 year warranty, this motor is as good as it gets.

If you are amongst the growing population of people that would rather use their phones than having to carry around a remote control, give us a call and book in to get a new Merlin Elite myQ installed.
